Nationally branded liquor store has finally won approval to open in Moore after months of uncertainty.
Total Wine Spirits Beer & More is hiring several full time and part time positions for the store, which is expected to open within weeks.
Oklahoma’s Alcoholic Beverage Laws Enforcement (ABLE) Commission denied the chain’s application in December because it initially formed the wrong type of in-state company. Total Wine applied as an LLP, a limited liability partnership, which conducts business similarly to an LLC, a limited liability company.

They have less than 0.5% alcohol by volume. So that’s compared to a standard beer, that would be about 5%, or a standard wine, that would be about 12%. Most people who are consuming them are also alcohol consumers. What is an open question is whether people are consuming them in place of alcohol, and so are they helping people to reduce their drinking, or are they using them in addition to alcohol?
