Auditor reports that Minnesota Muni Liquor Store profits up, in part due to THC offerings

Minnesotans are high on newish hemp-derived products that hit liquor store shelves in 2023.

A report released Wednesday by State Auditor’s office underscores the boost that a line of THC-infused beverages and gummies are bringing to Minnesota’s liquor stores owned and operated by cities.

In 2023, the stores made a net profit of $31.6 million on record sales of $437 million. And the authorization of hemp-derived THC products had a lot to do with it.

“Let me tell you, the horse is out of the barn,” said Paul Kaspszak.

Beer and Wine Sales Won’t be Coming to MD Grocery Stores as Lawmakers Shrug off Governor

A pair of bills that would have expanded beer and wine sales to supermarkets and other retailers failed to gain traction in the General Assembly this year, despite winning support from Gov. Having a Cash Price and a Card Price is

A Win-Win!

(for you and customers)

A Minimum of 50 MN Liquor Stores are getting $3,000, $5,000, $10,000 in Credit Card Fees back a month with Dual Pricing

The other thing all of these stores have in common is that they are all over the State, none of them waited for someone else near them to “do it first”. They are saving the huge business expense of CC fees and they haven’t looked back.

What could you do with another $3,000+ in profit a month, and erasing your ongoing POS and support costs like these stores are?

“Hi Gary

Hope all is well. Everything has been going well with Dual Pricing. Had a few comments but nothing to lose sleep over. We have saved close to $25,000.00 over the last 6 months. I have given my employees raises and been able to keep my prices lower than most of the competition around me. Wish I had made the switch a year ago.

Thanks again! Joe – Good Time Liquors”
