June 2004

Collaboration with Microsoft
Rick Feuling partners with Microsoft to create a case study highlighting the implementation of Microsoft Retail Management System (RMS) at Westside Liquor.

October 2004

RITE Founded
With the success of the Microsoft case study, RITE is incorporated and becomes a value-added-reseller for Microsoft's RMS product, focusing on liquor stores nationwide.

2006

Recognition in Publications
RITE and Rick Feuling are featured in CLOUD Magazine and Twin Cities Business Monthly as "Business Leaders Under 30" and in an article titled “Student/CEO."

2006 – 2010

Bootstrapped Growth
Despite challenges, RITE experienced significant growth, earning recognition as Microsoft Retail Solution Provider of the Year in 2007 and receiving the Circle of Excellence Award in 2010.

2012 – 2016

Stride in Development
RITE expands, writes over a million lines of code for Microsoft RMS, and becomes the first company in the US to perform a production EMV credit card transaction with RMS.

2017

Launch of Cloud Retailer
Cloud Retailer 1.0 is released after years of design, coding, and testing, marking a significant milestone in the company's evolution.

2018

Industry Recognition
RITE receives the Retail Solution Providers Association (RSPA) NextGEN Rising Star Grant, acknowledging its contributions to the retail technology industry.

2019

Hyper Focus on BWL Retailers
RITE pivots to focus exclusively on beer/wine/liquor retailers, leading to accelerated growth and surpassing the milestone of transacting the first billion dollars on the Cloud Retailer platform.

2019

Award from MLBA
RITE receives the coveted "Friend of the Retailer '' award from the Minnesota Licensed Beverage Association, becoming the first technology company to receive this honor in the MLBA's history.

Kevin has a unique combination of restaurant and retail management experience along with over 25 years of experience in the sales and support of liquor store point of sale systems. Over the years he has also been invited to speak or conduct workshops related to retail, restaurant, bar, concession, and venue point of sale systems at large retail conferences and expos. Kevin has shared his knowledge with, and spent time in, hundreds of “ma and pa” liquor stores across the United States.

Kevin focuses on the unique needs of liquor stores in Idaho, Washington State, California, Wyoming, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas.

Growing up in his family's award-winning chain, Westside Liquor, Rick started Cloud Retailer at 23 to solve the technology challenges he saw firsthand. His initiatives have significantly boosted social media presence, profit, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement. Rick is dedicated to helping liquor store owners achieve success and a better quality of life. His favorite quote is: "The safest way to try to get what you want is to try to deserve what you want.
